Happy International Women's Day

As women, we are taught to be polite, to be docile, and to be flexible. As black women especially, we are taught to be palatable, etc. But the only thing we need to be in this world is ourselves. So on this International Women's Day I celebrate women showing up loudly and authentically as themselves. To all my ladies, your voices and your stories are important. I hear you. I see you.
