St Lucy EP- Lucy's In the Sky Shining Like a Diamond
Small Snippet from my Saint Lucy EP. It's a tiny project that in theory I've been working on for a few years, but has really come into fruition the last few months. This is one I'm diddling with , so enjoy Lucy's in the Sky Shining Like a Diamond

I'd come back from California
Found her here waitin
Masacara stains
no longer grace
the eyes upon her somber face.
She's fresh out of the hospital
some camp in Arizona.
Peyote or Goop techniques
She'll take anything she can
to feel better
to feel normal
to feel free
And Lucy's in the sky with diamonds, tripping on shrooms.
Singing the Beatles off-key in my living room.
And I'm seeing her in a glory day
when she's been standing in the rain.
Lucy lost her vision
but I think she's seeing things again.
Lucy In the Sky
Shining Bright
Like a Diamond.
I put on the kettle
Lucy starts to tell her tales
Of girls who dance like fairies
and the strange romance
between
All the lost people
trying to find a will to be
And finding the wilderness to be safe
from the cruel city.
And she don't mention Jim again.
No talk of bad men, she says and sighs with deep relief
Like for the first time in a long time
she can finally breathe
And Lucy's in the sky with diamonds, tripping on shrooms.
Singing the Beatles off-key in my living room.
And I'm seeing her in glory
when she's been standing in the rain.
Lucy lost her vision but I think
She's seeing things again.
Lucy In the Sky
Shining
Like a Diamond.
Saint Lucy's long gone now so my Lucy can rest.
When the mayrtr had died, God gave her visions again.
A better life
a dream wife
what she's chosen to deserve
And Sometimes We Listen
find another secret
and see better only
after everything hurts
But now she's in the sky with diamonds,
I pray that she don't move.
Swaying to Eleanor Rigby in my living room.
And she's beaming with the sunlight
after drowning in the rain.
Lucy lost her vision but she's seeing things again.
Now Lucy's In the Sky
Shining Bright
Like a Diamond.
Lucy's In the Sky Shining Like a Diamond.
